Corvin Castle, also known as the Hunyadi Castle or Hunedoara Castle is the medieval fortress of Hunedoara, one of the most important Gothic monuments in Romania. It is considered one of the most beautiful castles in the world, placed among the “top ten fairy-tale destinations in Europe”.

Ulpia Traiana Sarmisegetusa was the capital and the most important military, religious and political centre of the Dacian state before the wars with the Roman Empire.
