Stage profile

The Romanian Atheneum is a concert hall in Bucharest, located on Calea Victoriei, in the George Enescu Square. The building combines neoclassical and eclectic styles and was erected between 1886 and 1888, designed by the French architect Albert Galleron.

The Palace of Parliament in Bucharest is 240 m long, 270 m wide, 86 m high, with 92 m below ground. It has 9 floors above ground and other 9 underground floors. According to the World Records Academy, it is the world’s second largest civilian building, the world’s most expensive administrative building and the world’s heaviest building.

The University Square is an important square in Bucharest. It is located at the heart of the capital city; its shape is influenced by the Haussmannian “Great Crossroad” (La Grande Croisee), designed to define the north–south and east–west axes of the city, so as to encourage urban modernisation in the spirit of the Parisian influence.
